Merry Christmas!! I know it is a little early, but we are very excited for this Christmas season. We finally got our first real snow fall, although it is already melted. The kids were so excited. We had a little snowball fight.

We also put up our Christmas tree. The kids did the decorating, they had a blast!! So here is a picture of that.

Home at Last

Well, I know it has been ages since I last update the blog. We are now home in Utah. We bought a house is Smithfield, which is just north of Logan. Brent is working with my brother-in-law doing construction and things are going good. Here are some fun pictures for anyone who wants to enjoy them.

Dallan of course had to be Spiderman for Halloween and Allie was a cute Minnie Mouse. We found the cool Spiderman glasses with flashlights on them. He thought they were awesome!

And Dallan turned 5 years old this October. He thinks he is such a big boy! And of course he had to have a Spiderman cake. It took me most of the day, but I got it done to his satisfaction.

And with our new house we have leaves to rake so here is a picture of the kids playing in the leaves. They thought it was a blast. We are going to have to re-teach them what winter and fall is.

What a hot summer! It sounds like everyone is hot and busy this summer. We are in St. Charles MO for the summer. It has been nice having a pool at the apartment complex we can go down and cool off. Dallan loves it and swims everywhere with his life jacket on. Allie is getting really brave, she wears her life jacket and is starting to jump in the deep end and swim a little as well. I am always right there to help when the jacket flips her onto her back.

On the Fourth of July we were able to go to a Cardinals game (baseball). It was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed it. And of course there were fireworks after that were great. I had a lot of fun too because I got to spend time with Brent. He has been working a lot and we don't get to spent much time with him so it was nice to have a half day with him anyway.

We plan to finish out the summer here and head back to Logan so Brent can get back into school. We hope everyone is having a great summer!

Well a lot has happened since our last post. My sister returned from Thailand safely so we were happy about that. But that also meant it was time for us to leave. We have made a lot of great friends in Florida and will miss them very much. Before we left we celebrated Allies 2nd birthday. Boy how time flies. So here are a couple of pictures of the birthday girl.

I know everyone is confused as to our plans, we are a little too, but our original plan of returning to McCall, ID didn't work out. Which we are really sad because we love McCall and are going to still try and go back sometime. We are currently in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis). Brent got a summer job here and we are giving it a try to see how it goes. We are getting settled in and I am getting to be a professional packer and unpacker. On the way up we were able to drive threw the coast of Mississippi where I served and LDS mission. I haven't been back and the devastation of Katrina is still very evident. It was very sad to see the once beautiful coastline look like a ghost town.

This was a ship that was left by Hurricane Camille years ago. It had been turned into a tourist shop, but now is very much destroyed. It was good to still see it there. It was one of the only landmarks that I still recognized.

This was at a rest stop on the way to St. Charles, Brent just had to play around with the camera. Dallan thought it was awesome!

So we will keep you posted on our plans. We should be here in St. Charles, MO until the end of August and then the "plan" (always up to change) is to get Brent back into school.

So we have been in Florida for almost 4 months now and the weather is great! We have had a lot of fun times going to the beach and playing around. When we first got here both the kids were very scared of the waves at the beach. They hadn't seen waves that big before. Last time we went to the beach Dallan ran right in and we had to remind him to stay close to mom and dad. The fear is gone. Allie is still a little nervous but does much better.

We also went to Shark Valley entrance to the Everglades. They have a path that you can walk, bike, or ride a tram. It is about 15 miles round trip. We just walked a couple of miles in and then turned around. But we saw so many alligators. We even saw baby gators, and one small gator trying to eat a frog. Dallan thought that was awesome. I didn't think it was too fun to watch. We saw a deer as well and were a little nervous that we might see a gator have dinner. I was relieved and Brent was a little disappointed that the deer returned safely to the brush without disturbing the gators.

Hello All

Okay so we are trying to go high tech and join the blog world. I hope this works! This will be great to share our continuously changing lives with everyone we care about. So here we go!
